interesting... on what may be called the "Amazon Effect" and nice to see lower prices - as long as we have choices in San Antonio it may even force HEB to look at their prices too. But, like HEB has become the local king by getting rid of competition and can get away with charging higher prices by convincing consumers that those prices are the "norm", perhaps one day Amazon will be emperor and will do exactly the same.... and that is why capitalism works - it is about the free competition . . |
